Working closely with the client from project inception, our role encompassed the full architectural design process through the planning phase, including strategic site analysis, planning controls, project programming, massing studies and the development of a refined architectural response that balanced operational requirements with a contemporary commercial identity.

The architectural concept is defined by a restrained and highly resolved building envelope, utilising layered façade elements, transparency and carefully proportioned forms to create a strong civic presence while responding to environmental performance, occupant amenity and long-term durability. The composition establishes a clear architectural hierarchy, with a highly transparent public interface, a screened commercial façade and a lightweight glazed upper level that together deliver a timeless and sophisticated architectural expression.

Beyond the architectural design, RxD coordinated the broader consultant team, engaging and managing Planning Property Partners (PPP), ESD consultants, traffic engineers and landscape architects to prepare a comprehensive and coordinated planning submission that successfully aligned planning, technical and commercial objectives.

To further support project delivery, our scope extended beyond traditional architectural services to include early-stage material quantification, cost planning support and value engineering initiatives. These services enabled informed decision-making throughout design development, ensuring the architectural vision remained aligned with budget expectations while maintaining the quality and integrity of the overall design outcome.
